Who are we?

M:Tier's roots stem from a simple idea to address a complex problem into a commercial reality in 2008. It was founded by Reiner Jung and Adrian Hughes with the specific aim of bridging the gap between the disparate worlds of Open Source and commerce.

Chief Operating Officer

Adrian Hughes, BA (Hons), MSc., MBA, PMP - Has worked in various industries starting with electronics but spent the majority of the time working in the Oil & Gas industry representing a total of over 30+ years experience.

He held a wide variety of positions including Senior Management for blue chip organisations and has core expertise in project & programme management holding a professional PMI qualification.

Chief Technology Officer

Reiner Jung – Has worked in various industries including Steel, Chemical, Automotive and Oil & Gas as a Systems Architect/Consultant representing 25+ years of experience.

For over half of that time he has been passionate about the Open Source Community & Project Concept and has become a senior and familiar figure in the Open Source Community.

The Team

M:Tier has access to a rich pool of talented open source Developers & Trainers all of whom are enthusiastic exponents of the open source concept and way of working. Our team comprises various highly experienced open source Developers who are well respected amongst the Community. Some of them have several years of experience as technical project managers in a variety of industries.
